CAPS: Virtual Fall Cohort
Registration Now Open
Third Branch Solutions is launching a new virtual format of our signature Collaboration and Problem-Solving (CAPS) program this fall — a discounted beta designed to bring the same peer-driven, practice-based leadership development to a wider audience across the federal court system.
This fall, we're running two parallel cohorts, each capped at 20 participants:
Emerging Leaders
For those not yet in a supervisory role but ready to build leadership skills now.
Supervisory Track
For those currently supervising staff.
Both cohorts follow the same program model, with content tailored to each group's context, and a few joint sessions where the two cohorts come together.
Open To
Anyone in a non-supervisory (Emerging Leaders) or supervisory (Supervisory Track) position in any department or area within a federal court unit, probation/pretrial services office, or federal defender organization. At 3B, we believe leadership lessons transcend organization type and position title, and we can all learn from each other.
What's Included
- A half-day virtual kickoff intensive
- 12 weeks of live weekly presentations (skipping Thanksgiving week)
- A final-week mini-capstone: participants deliver a 10–15 minute presentation to the cohort
- A 1-month follow-up and debrief after the program concludes
- Two individual 30-minute coaching sessions with certified executive coaches — themselves former judiciary professionals
- Optional weekly challenges to reinforce themes and build habits, with prizes for completion
- Curated materials and recommended reading aligned to each week's theme
- Ongoing email support throughout the program
- Lasting connections with a cohort of peers across the federal court system
- Certificate of completion

Pricing
$500 per person
3B will coordinate payment with your court or organization's contracting officer.
Register by September 1 to lock in this rate. After September 1, the price increases to $750 per person.
Each cohort is capped at 20 participants and may fill before the early-bird deadline — register early to guarantee your spot.
